Puff Daddy les a signés sur Bad Boy South, ce qui leur garantit une bonne place en tête de gondole et une promo digne de leur talent et de leur place dans le "game". Comme le soulignait à juste titre The Source, c'est d'ailleurs une des forces du rap du Sud que de continuer à soutenir ses pionniers alors que ceux-ci sont très vite oubliés à New York ou à L.A. Mais revenons à Relax & Take Notes. Construit autour d'un sample du Dead Wrong de Notorious B.I.G., Relax & Take Notes permet à 8Ball & MJG de dévoiler toute leur fascination pour l'univers de Scarface et le bling bling. Dans le clip, rien ne manque: jolies filles courts vêtues par paquet de douze, bains dans des baignoires remplies de dollars, penthouse à la déco atroce, voitures de luxe: c'est clinquant, tapageur, outrageusement vulgaire.
